Twitter: It’s What Everybody is Twit-ing About…
Unless you have been under house arrest with no access to the news or internet you have probably heard of Twitter by now. Most people still don’t “get it” and I don’t blame them. Unlike Facebook it is not intuitive.
This is how it was explained to me by social media guru Stacey Harmon. “Facebook is a high school reunion and comes with the same social rules. You tell everyone what you are up to, but you don’t disclose your W-2. Twitter is like a cocktail party. If you are engaging people will want to follow you and talk with you. If you are obnoxious – you will not get invited back to the party.”
